Description


The 400A Columbus Pneumatic timer is a well-established, reliable and easy to fit and cost-effective range
of mechanical push button timers. The unit has a normally open (NO) and a normally closed (NC) change
over contacts as standard to enable automatic switch OFF or switch ON after activation set time has
elapsed.
This general-purpose wall mounted timer provides automatic energy saving control for lighting by timing
power source OFF and avoiding unnecessary power usage when circuit functions are not required. For
electronic doors when the timer is activated the load is switched off using the COMMON and NC contacts.
Pushing the button once switches the contacts over from its normal position and begins the time delay
sequence. Time delay sequence is adjustable using the timing screw located at the back of the unit in the
centre.

The 400A Columbus pneumatic timer is commonly used to control all types of internal lighting loads from
LEDs, Fluorescent, Compact Fluorescent, Resistive and Incandescent and is a perfect solution for use in
areas such as stairways, hallways, cupboards, and storerooms.
The 400A can be used in an AC & DC circuit and as a voltage free contacts timer.
